Stop Trashing Ronda Rousey ... She's a Legend; Holly Holm Says

After a round of unpleasantness online, possibly far more mentally bruising than any wrestling match UFC champ Holly Holm Skyped in to the "TMZ Sports" TV show on Monday with some remarkable support for Rousey. Yes! Remarkable given what Rousey had written about her!

Holly Holm: Stop Trashing Ronda Rousey ... She's a Legend

Holly Holm ... the merciful?

After Ronda Rousey trashed her in public -- and called her a "fake humility bitch" on Instagram -- UFC champ Holly Holm is calling for the Rousey haters to BACK OFF the fallen legend.

Holm Skyped in to the "TMZ Sports" TV show (Monday at 9PM PT on FS1) -- and said she actually feels BAD for Ronda, who's been ripped by everyone from Lady Gaga to Laila Ali.

"I think people can be pretty brutal," Holm said ... "and when you're in the spot shes in, there are people that are just going to jump ship and I don't ever wish for that."

She added, "I have a lot of respect for her."

There's A LOT more on the show -- with Holm talking about everything from a rematch with Rousey to if she plans on following Ronda's championship road to movie stardom!!

More about Rounda:

Tension between Rounda Rousey and Floyd Mayweather

There has been a lot of tension between Rounda Rousey and Floyd Mayweather, despite the two being involved in two different sports. In August, Rousey took a shot at Mayweather by referencing his history of domestic violence when she beat him to win the “Best Fighter” award at the ESPY’s. On Friday, Rousey weighed in on Mayweather’s bout against Andre Berto, which despite it being Floyd’s final fight of his career, only drew 500,000 pay-per-view subscriptions, the lowest that Money has done in 10 years. “I’m not surprised, a lot of people were pissed after that Pacquiao fight,” Rousey said.
We will never see a Mayweather Vs. Rousey fight because both parties are so rich, and if you’re Floyd there’s so much male pride to be lost if he had to tap out by means of Ronda’s devastating armbar. But we can see a Mayweather Vs. Rousey on Street Fighter 4.

Her clothes-less cover shot

Ronda Rousey set the sports and publishing worlds aflame last summer when she appeared on the cover of ESPN The Magazine’s annual Body Issue. Those steeply versed in the crazy violent world of MMA already knew her name, but her [clothes free] cover shot turned her into a household name virtually overnight.
At the time she made the cover, Rousey was already an Olympic medalist in judo and a rising star in MMA. ESPN The Magazine’s cover story, which sold like those proverbial hotcakes you’re always hearing about, on her catapaulted Rousey into the same circle of fame as other attractive famous female athletes like Danica Patrick, Laila Ali and Gina Carano. After that, television came calling, and so did the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship), which named her the league’s first-ever UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion thanks to her patented submission move, the armbar. Rousey defended her title in February this year, and graces the cover of ESPN The Magazine’s 15th Anniversary Issue (on newsstands now).

Rousey and Cupid's arrow

While fame has captured Rousey over the past few years, she's avoided Cupid's arrow for virtually her entire run in the UFC. Some of it is self chosen. Then again, as successful as Rousey is with fighting, it seems she's just as unlucky with love.
Rousey also addressed the fact that outside of her public-relations appearances or interviews, Rousey rarely ever puts on makeup. Why is that exactly? So when you see her all dolled up, it's that much more special.

Cast to star in a remake to the movie “Road House”

Did you know Ronda Rousey was just cast to star in a remake to the movie “Road House”? How cool is that? It’s awesome that someone known for their work ethic and skills in fighting could be elevated to the point of super stardom like Ronda Rousey has. Remember people known as fighters in high school? Just hearing the word “fight” peaked everyone in earshots interest, and even if you weren’t in the vicinity at the time the rumor mill of the fight going around school was enough to get everyone going. They wanted to see it, who was involved, and when it was going to happen. If the fight happened to be between two girls there was even more interest than the usual guy on guy fight. Boys are expected to be fighters.
Men get in scuffles all the time, but women? There is a certain cache to a little girl on girl action or “catfight” as they are sometimes referred to. So what drives a woman to want to fight? Obviously it’s not the male driven hormone testosterone driving that compulsion, but something else entirely. Historically speaking, women gather and nurture the community system.

Wild punch thrown by Rousey that Holm easily dodged

My favorite moment was the wild punch thrown by Rousey that Holm easily dodged. It left Rousey looking confused and punch drunk.
Best answer: There are more Hispanics leaning toward Trump than you may think. They know that the safely of this country is important. Many came here legally and respect the law. They know we can not afford to take in every person who wants to walk in. If we did, we would be a country of 4 billion, completely with the cartels that run Mexico.
