Miley Cyrus already has a lot of tattoos something like 16 in total, but it easily could be more by the time you read this. She has them all over her body, most are quite small and many are in unexpected paces such as on her ear, wrist, or fingers.
She only adds new tattoos when she has something to add which has meaning to her. The pracice shows no signs of stopping any time soon. She apparently started with her first Miley Cyrus tattoo when she was 17.
Her half-brother Trace is any indication of family tastes in tattooing tattoo obsession, Miley fans might want to watch out! You quite possibly may no longer be able to recognize her in a few years time because large parts of her may have disappeared under ink!

However, recently some have criticized the circumstances in which tattoos have been added. A tattoo session on 27 July 27 of this year (2014) was a DIY job between friends. Miley Cyrus and her assistant Cheyne Thomas applied their tattoo gun to each other's bodies for what are described as friendship ankle tattoos. Cheyne has published a picture of his on Instagram. It's an ankle tattoo, which comprises a small black smiley face. Miley, on the other hand chose to keep her own ankle tattoo from the day a secret!
When Cyrus was 21 years old, it was a time for two new tattoos, including the words "Love Yer Brain" on her right forearm. The quote is from what onlookers describe as her favorite band, The Flaming Lips.
Perhaps the most highly commented upon tattoo of 2014 os her tattoo of her sadly deceased dog Floyd. It is a rib tattoo. It's creation is painful-looking. Floyd died in April from the effcets of a vicious coyote attack. Miley has been feeling sad about the loss ever since. We hope that by remembering her dearly dog in this way that Miley will be continually comforted.
Miley looks so often to the the epitome of youthful rebellion that it can be surprising to many of us when she acts sweet! That's why her addition of a picture of her ‘Mammie’ to her right forearm, was a unexpected, but still touching. The tatto itself was made by reality-show star and tattoo artist Kat Von D. A twitter post was issued with the text, “because I am her favorite & she is mine.”
Miley Cyrus, quite strangely to some, must want to be continually reminded of the Rolling Stone magazine cover story of twerking video, when she posed topless. And, even more quirkily, the reminder is now forever on her feet. This came about as part of her interview for the RS magazine, about the "Wrecking Ball" video scene as the 20 year old singer, took the story editor to a tattoo parlor.
